. SECAF visits Hill Airmen during Japan visit
Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson visited Kadena Air Base Feb. 1-2 for the first time since taking the position. She met with members across the installation, including Airmen in the 388th Fighter Wing and 419th Fighter Wing who are deployed to Japan as part of a routine theater security package, to discuss her priorities of readiness, innovation and modernization.

2017 Air Force Art Contest Hill employee, teen take top honors in Air Force art contest
When 2017 Air Force Art Contest results were announced recently, two artists from the same installation celebrated repeat victories. Josh Pugeau, a civilian missile inspector with the 709th Maintenance Support Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, won the adult accomplished division with his charcoal “Bearded Man.”

AFMC Health and Wellness AFMC promotes wellness screening campaign
During the month of February, Air Force Materiel Command is launching its “Do You Know Your Numbers” wellness screening campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of the importance of knowing your numbers to help prevent chronic diseases such diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.
