The Civil Law branch provides advice and assistance to commanders and installation members on matters relating to the organization, operation, personnel, and functions of Hill AFB to include: - Government ethics (standards of conduct, etc) - Installation Law - Information Access Law (FOIA, privacy act, etc) - Off-duty employment - Gifts to the Air Force or individuals - Political activities - Line of duty determinations - Investigations (IG, CDI, DDI, Commanders Inquiry) - Driving privileges - Installation access - Private organizations and unofficial unit activities (booster clubs, etc) - Non-federal entities
