  • Hill Airman one of Air Force's 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year

    The Air Force recently named Senior Airman Roxanne Darien, a community health technician with the 75th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, as one of the service’s 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year.
  • Team Hill Frontlines: Capt. Gabe Lawson

    Capt. Gabe Lawson is a chaplain for the 388th Fighter Wing. He provides pastoral care ministry and counseling to Airmen and families and support spiritual and moral resilience of our Airmen, and leads the Protestant chapel worship service at the Base Chapel on a weekly basis. He is from Lexington, Kentucky, and his hobbies include spending time with his wife and three kids, watching sports (especially Atlanta Braves baseball), exercising, watching movies and shows and reading all kinds of literature.
  • 1980s: Hill AFB’s role as the Logistics System Program Manager for all Air Force ICBMs

    As Hill AFB entered its fifth decade in 1980, the Ogden Air Logistics Center remained the Logistics System Program Manager for the Air Force’s entire Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) deterrent force. The ICBM weapon systems then managed by the Ogden ALC included the LGM-25 Titan II, LGM-30 Minuteman II and III, LGM-118A Peacekeeper, and XMGX-134A Small ICBM. 
  • Team Hill Frontlines: Cheryl Davis

    Cheryl Davis is a licensed practical nurse in the 75th Medical Group. Her duties include screening and seeing patients for occupational health examinations.  She is from Elmsford, New York, and her hobbies include trying new ethnic recipes to cook, reading and traveling.
  • 75th Medical Group runs drive-thru COVID-19 testing for deployers

    The 75th Medical Group at Hill Air Force Base recently established a special COVID-19 drive-thru screening and testing line for Airmen with the 421st Fighter Squadron to get them out the door healthy and safe for a deployment.
  • Team Hill Frontlines: Jennifer Child

    Jennifer Child works for the Defense Logistics Agency as a material handler in the Storage and Distribution Division, where she supports the F-16 and A-10 weapon systems, as well as the C-130 cargo plane. Her responsibilities are receiving and in-checking, sorting, fulfilling material requisition orders and delivering parts to the various maintenance shops within her buildings. She is from Las Vegas, Nevada, and her hobbies include camping, four wheeling, crafts and hanging out with friends and family.
  • 84th Radar Evaluation Squadron changes command

    Lt. Col. Jesse Scott assumed command of the 84th Radar Evaluation Squadron from Lt. Col. David Pennington during a virtual change of command ceremony at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, on June 4. Col. Francisco Gallei, commander of the 505th Test & Training Group, Hurlburt Field, Florida, presided over the ceremony via video teleconference due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. The 84 RADES is a subordinate unit of the 505th Command and Control Wing, on Hurlburt Field.
  • Team Hill Frontlines: Lindsay Strickland

    Lindsay Strickland is an administrative assistance for Occupational Medicine Services in the 75th Medical Group. Her duties include scheduling appointments for seven clinical providers within OMS. She manages the clinic’s data systems, and coordinates and tracks medical evaluations, referrals and profiles. In addition, she is the Ogden Air Logistics Complex’s main point of contact for employee relations, family medical leave, voluntary leave, and other labor issues.
  • AFMC's top leaders visit Hill AFB to see operations, address diversity and inclusion

    Air Force Materiel Command Commander Gen. Arnold W. Bunch, Jr., said he was "really impressed" during his recent visit to Hill Air Force Base. The general and AFMC Command Chief Chief Master Sgt. Stanley C. Cadell visited Hill AFB June 10-11 to view how critical missions at the base are being executed and the impacts to AFMC’s teams during COVID-19.
  • Bunch reflects on first year in command, outlines AFMC future

    During a year that has included an Air Force-wide focus on modernization, lethality and readiness through faster, more agile business processes, the ability of the Air Force Materiel Command to successfully meet the needs of the National Defense Strategy was a major focus of Gen. Arnold W. Bunch, Jr.’s first year as commander.
