    The 75th Civil Engineer Group’s Energy Management Office and Environmental Management Branch invite Hill AFB’s military, civilians, retirees and families, of all ages, to the third annual “Kickin’ It … for Conservation,” an Energy & Environmental Fair, 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m., June 7.
  • Hill medical campus now tobacco free

    As of April 27, all designated tobacco use areas have been removed from the Hill AFB Military Treatment Facility and its nearby grounds in accordance with Air Force Instruction 40-102, Tobacco Free Living.
  • Retiring Surgeon General saw revolution in expeditionary care

    Air Force Medicine has changed significantly since 1986, when Lt. Gen. Mark Ediger left his family medicine practice in Missouri to join the Air Force. Ediger, the U.S. Air Force Surgeon General, retires June 1, after a 32-year career that took him around the world, through numerous postings and varied roles. Although Ediger rose to the highest position in Air Force Medicine, he says that was not his intended career path.

    Hill AFB motorcycle riders attended the 4th Annual Motorcycle Rodeo May 16. Riders who were unable to attend the May 16 briefings should coordinate with their unit motorcycle safety representative to get required information provided at the briefings.
  • Memorial Day weekend hours of operation for Hill

    Many offices and services will be closed or have limited hours through Memorial Day weekend. The installation will observe an AFMC Family Day on Friday, May 25, and Memorial Day, May 28.
  • Hill civilian, military member earn top honors in 2017 DOD Media Awards

    Two of Team Hill’s own are among the winners of the 2017 Department of Defense Media Awards. David Perry, 75th Air Base Wing Public Affairs, and Staff Sgt. Andrew Lee, 2nd Audiovisual Squadron, were recognized at their respective major commands, Air Force and now DOD-level competitions.
