  • 'The C-130 Experience' takes flight at the Hill Aerospace Museum

    The Hill Aerospace Museum has completed the first of its kind, conversion of a C-130 aircraft fuselage into an interactive classroom. The C-130 is the museum’s fifth learning center classroom and was officially opened during a ceremony May 14.

    This spring season, Civilian Health Promotion Services will promote its “Ready, Set, Summer” physical activity challenge. The RSS challenge is an onsite CHPS program-wide initiative designed to promote physical activity for the workforce. Regular physical activity is one of the most important actions that people of all ages can take to improve their health. Being physically active can help people feel better, function better, sleep better and reduce the risk of a large number of chronic diseases.

    On March 12, as part of an extended Military Saves Week, the Airman and Family Readiness Center coordinated a kid’s money saving workshop at Hill Field Elementary called Kids Marketplace conducted by Utah State University Extension and volunteers from Hill AFB.

    Last summer a substantive change to the policy on the transfer by service members in the Uniformed Services of “Post-9/11 GI Bill” educational benefits to eligible family members occurred. The changes to the policy for authorizing the Transferability of Education Benefits become effective on July 12, 2019.
