  • 649th Munitions Squadron not slowing down during COVID-19 crisis

    In response to COVID-19, the 649th Munitions Squadron at Hill Air Force Base has adopted new procedures and precautions to balance the safety and health of its Airmen while supporting worldwide warfighter requirements. As part of the Air Force Sustainment Center, the 649th MUNS supports AMMO resupply requirements for the Air Force, DOD and allied partner warfighters.

    For the health and safety of those around us, face coverings have become a hot commodity. However, supply and demand makes has made them a little hard to come by lately. That’s why some children at the center have taken on the task of creating masks for themselves and for care givers at Hill AFB’s Youth and Child Development Centers.
  • Hill A&FRC services go virtual amid COVID-19

    In the midst of social distancing and teleworking, Hill’s Airman and Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) has adopted online platforms to support Team Hill and their families.
  • Base Exchange to start offering curbside pick up

    Beginning April 10, Hill's Main Exchange will be offering curbside pick up for orders placed online. 
  • Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) now requiring patrons, employees to wear face coverings at its stores worldwide

    Commissaries worldwide are requiring some form of face covering for store employees and customers to enter a commissary. DeCA’s guidance is effective Friday, April 10. Commissary patrons must wear some form of face covering such as masks, scarfs, bandannas, clean t-shirts, or cloths to cover the nose and mouth.
  • Congratulations to Hill AFB's newest chief master sergeants

    In the midst of a global health pandemic, the Air Force mission still continues and Airmen are still recognized for their achievements. Nine of Hill Air Force Base’s newest chief master sergeants were supposed to be recognized during a ceremony April 2. However, due to the COVID-19 crisis, all public gatherings were cancelled.
