  • Air Force Materiel Command promotes ‘Ready, Set, Summer’ physical activity challenge

    This spring season, Civilian Health Promotion Services will promote its “Ready, Set, Summer” physical activity challenge. The RSS challenge is an onsite CHPS program-wide initiative designed to promote physical activity for the workforce. Regular physical activity is one of the most important actions that people of all ages can take to improve their health. Being physically active can help people feel better, function better, sleep better and reduce the risk of a large number of chronic diseases.

Actors Jonathan Camp known for StartUp, Six, and American Fright Fest, along with Dave Kiley from the television show Diesel Brothers on Discovery Channel will appear in the first two of six ads scheduled for production.
  • Halting hypothermia

    To learn more about hypothermia, other weather hazards and general emergency preparedness tips, join Hill Civilian Health Promotion Services team for ‘Emergency Preparedness' at one of these upcoming sessions.
  • Dressing for cold weather

    Hypothermia is defined as abnormally low body temperature caused by prolonged exposures to very cold temperatures. When exposed to cold temperatures, your body begins to lose heat faster than it’s produced.
