HILL AIR FORCE BASE – There are many benefits to setting goals. Goals direct your focus and attention. They increase your self-confidence and help you develop problem-solving strategies. When you set effective goals, they can help you perform to your potential. If you struggle with sticking to your goals, try making them more specific.

Instead of:

Get more sleep – Sleep eight hours a night
Eat healthy – Eat balanced meals including all food groups
Control my stress – Meditate five minutes each day
Exercise more – Set a goal of 8,000 steps a day

Join Hill CHPS for any January health education class to learn more tips and tricks for reaching your goals this year. Attend a scheduled class or set up an event in your location.
