HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- The Ogden Air Logistics Complex recently achieved AS9100 and AS9110 certifications, demonstrating its commitment to aerospace excellence and adherence to rigorous industry standards for safe and reliable aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, and modification.
AS9110 ensures high-quality aircraft maintenance, while AS9100 guarantees precision in manufacturing and modifications, supporting operational safety and reliability.
"These certifications are a testament to our unwavering focus on process control and our dedication to providing the highest quality aerospace solutions," said Maj. Gen. Kenyon Bell, Ogden ALC commander. "Achieving these rigorous industry standards for the building, maintenance, and inspection of aircraft and components underscores our commitment to providing equipment our warfighters and partners can rely on."
The certification process included extensive inspections and audits to verify compliance with industry and government regulations. This accomplishment directly supports the Ogden ALC's mission to deliver aircraft and equipment efficiently while exceeding Air Force requirements.
Wolfgang Seng, quality management system and activity team lead for the Ogden ALC, highlighted the thorough preparation, including internal audits throughout 2024 leading up to the third-party evaluation.
"These audits were instrumental in enhancing efficiency, proactively identifying risks, and further strengthening our operations," Seng said. "Achieving these certifications showcases our dedication to precision and operational excellence, underscoring our responsibility to uphold the highest industry standards. This ensures every aircraft and component perform flawlessly, even in the most demanding missions."
