HILL AIR FORCE BASE – Single Airmen from across the installation were treated to a free chicken lunch through a Project One initiative at Hill’s Airmen Recreation Center Nov. 16.
Representatives from Chick’n Lick’n served 66 Airmen from their food truck, under Project One’s Single Airman line of effort.
“We were happy to provide this for our Airmen to enjoy some good food, socialize and connect with each other,” said Chief Master Sgt. Shanaysha Evans, 75th Medical Group senior enlisted leader.
Evans said events like this show appreciation for service while also strengthen social connections across the installation and with the surrounding community.
“Having strong community support at home is key to the success of our mission as our Airmen go out and fight for the freedom of our nation,” she said. “Project One gives that opportunity to participate in on and off-base activities.
