HILL AIR FORCE BASE – When we hear the word diet, we often think about restricting certain foods. Instead of focusing on excluding food, let’s focus on what we should be including. A heart healthy diet consists of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, low-fat protein and more.

Celebrate American Heart Month by incorporating more heart-healthy meals into your weekly menu.

Visit USAFwellness.com for hundreds of recipe options that you can filter based on your specific needs.

For more information on ways to keep your heart healthy, attend a February health education class. Attend a scheduled class or set up an event in your location.
