HILL AIR FORCE BASE – As we approach the final week of the Combined Federal Campaign, please consider donating to any of the thousands of available CFC charities that rely on contributions to fulfill their missions and better our communities.

Generous donations from Team Hill members currently sits at $103,384, as it climbs toward the base goal of $150,000, and there is still time to donate.

The CFC website provides all the information you need to make an informed decision on where you decide to contribute. After you make one or more choices, there are four easy ways to give to the CFC including the CFC giving app, online giving system, text-to-donate and paper pledge forms. You can also pledge volunteer hours to many charities as an individual or as a group.

“We’re always looking for ways to become more rooted in our community and by pledging volunteer hours through CFC, I can do just that,” said 1st Lt. Sable Hanley, co-chair for Hill’s CFC campaign.

Hanley said she appreciates the wide spectrum of charities offered through the CFC where her donations make a personal difference and she’s never pressured to donate more money like sometimes happens when donating outside of the campaign.

“As a parent, I’m truly grateful to give to organizations like Make-A-Wish through the CFC,” she said. “The idea that I can help create an everlasting, happy memory for a family during the midst of heartbreak is priceless.”

Hanley said none of this would be possible without the many base volunteers and, of course, Team Hill donations.

“Thanks so much for all the contributions that have already been made, let’s finish strong and give happy,” she said. “there’s still time.”
