HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- The Combined Federal Campaign project officers have been working tirelessly to build campaign momentum for the last several weeks.
Their efforts have paid off, with the Mountain States CFC ranking #1 outside of the national capital area and becoming the first field campaign to exceed a million dollars in donations.
The campaign has raised $1,131,755 and counting, with Hill Air Force Base contributing more than $53,000 of that total as of Dec. 4.
The CFC aims to surpass last year’s achievement of $2,375,780 and raise more than two million dollars.
This year, the CFC is spreading joy and happiness with its theme “Give Happy.”
The campaign is also promoting its “'tis the season to give” during the biggest month of giving – December. If you haven’t had an opportunity to give yet, now is a great time to make a difference by giving a gift to an eligible CFC charity.
“The CFC is a great opportunity to give back to the community and help those in need,” said 1st Lt. Sable Hanley, co-chair for Hill’s CFC campaign. “Let’s make this year’s campaign a huge success by supporting the cause and spreading the word."
The CFC website provides all the information you need to make an informed decision on where you decide to contribute.
After you make one or more choices, there are four easy ways to give to the CFC including the CFC giving app, online giving system, text-to-donate and paper pledge forms. You can also pledge volunteer hours to many charities as an individual or as a group.
“Together, we can make a difference and help those in need,” Hanley said. “Thank you in advance for your support and helping to communicate the importance of the campaign during the holiday giving season.”
Pledges will be accepted through Jan. 15, the close of this year’s campaign.
