HILL AIR FORCE BASE – Flightline workers have a new option for quick snacks and healthier food options at the latest unmanned retail market in the 388th Munitions Squadron’s building 928.
The unmanned market offers meals, snacks and beverages, including better-for-you options such as salads, wraps, fresh fruit, protein bars, breakfast burritos and more.
Hill BX General Manager Tammy Hairston led a ribbon-cutting on the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s convenience market on June 9.
“The addition of another unmanned retail market increases fast, convenient and healthy eating options,” Hairston said. “Adding this micro market is another way we’re assisting our Airmen to have what they need when they need it.”
The unmanned retail market is open 24 hours a day Monday through Friday, reopening each Sunday at 11 p.m.
