Hill’s 75th Security Forces Squadron hosted a National Police Week Kick-Off Ceremony at the base May 15, 2023. 

The ceremony featured local police departments, future Air Force recruits and the Utah COPS charitable organization. The family-friendly event included a demonstration of Hill's military working dogs, law enforcement booths and displays, and a fair-type atmosphere with food trucks, a dunk tank, a bouncy castle and games. 

National Police Week is all about honor, gratitude, remembrance, servitude, and peer support. It is celebrated on whatever week May 15 falls in, under President John F. Kennedy’s decree to honor the men and women who risk their lives every day in the line of duty.
