HILL AIR FORCE BASE – In a highly contested championship game, the 729th Air Control Squadron edged the 533rd Commodities Maintenance Squadron 49-46 to capture Hill's intramural basketball title earlier this month.
Both teams entered the final game undefeated in regular season play, as the two teams didn't meet due to a shortened schedule.
It was the first intramural season of any sport at Hill since 2020 when the program was suspended due to COVID. Next up is volleyball, with pickleball and baseball on the horizon.
