Hill Air Force Base is temporarily suspending its Trusted Traveler Program, following the base’s move to HPCON Bravo+.

The program allowed valid cardholders with escort authority to vouch for people riding in the same vehicle with them without having to get them pre-cleared by the 75th Security Forces Squadron.

The program’s suspension means visitors will have to be approved for a base visit, and will need to present valid identification to be let inside the base gates.

All CAC holders, military dependents, retirees, contractors with approved sponsorship rights as reflected on the DBIDS ID, and residents of privatized housing are allowed to sponsor guests onto the base.  Sponsors with valid identification that grants them sponsorship authority can sponsor up to five visitors at a time by visiting the South Gate VCC in-person or using the Team Hill VCC SharePoint Site, accessed by clicking on the IT self-help icon on your desktop. Telephone sponsorship is not authorized.

Visitors will be required to produce a valid, authorized form of ID with photo in order to prove identity, and will undergo a background check for criminal history and active wants or warrants.  All identification must be in compliance with the REAL ID Act; if it is not, a second form of ID will be needed.

For more information about visitor access, see the brochure at https://www.hill.af.mil/Portals/58/documents/Hill-Base-Entry.pdf or call the South Gate VCC at 801-777-8631.
