Team Hill,

On July 4th, 1776, the United States as a nation was born.

What was once 13 colonies is now one of the world’s most powerful countries, with our own heritage, laws, history, society, and people.

The one thing that has accelerated our rise to prominence is our diversity. Our nation enjoys the peaceful coexistence of so many ethnicities, cultures, perspectives, and backgrounds, all living under one flag.

That diversity of thought keeps us honest, innovative, and capable.

As we come together for this long weekend marked by fireworks, parades, concerts, and freedom, remember our founding fathers and those who sacrificed for our independence.

They would be so proud to see how far we have come. Stay safe this weekend.
