ACE Facilities Facilities The finished ACE facility will consist of at least 15,000 square feet on the grounds of the museum. The construction of the building will allow for future expansion and enhancement. The specific space allocations of the ACE will be as follows: Aerospace Science Sections - This is the heart of the ACE containing approximately 30 exhibits. About two-thirds of this space is allocated to exhibits from the permanent collection, with the remaining space occupied by traveling and exchange exhibits. 8,500 sq. ft. Main Entrance - Lobby and general information. 800 sq. ft. Instructional Area - Stadium seating and computer workstations for visiting classes and guest lecturers. 1,800 sq. ft. Exhibit Design & Fabrication Studio - Exhibit support area, from research and development to routine maintenance. 1,800 sq. ft. Exhibit Supplies, Prep, & Storage - 500 sq. ft. Offices, Restrooms, & Custodial - 1,600 sq. ft.
