• HAFB kicks off Air Force Assistance Fund campaign

    The annual Air Force Assistance Fund campaign is just around the corner and will be held March 26 through May 4. This year’s goal for Hill AFB is $63,338 and contributions will directly benefit Air Force Airmen, their families and retirees.

    The base held a Special Needs Summit for families March 15 – an information fair for military and civilian employees to learn about area services and programs available to families with special needs. More than 130 providers from 90 on- and off-base agencies attended the summit.

    The Hill Aerospace Museum at Hill AFB will host a plane talk series featuring speakers related to heritage of Hill Air Force Base, the United States Air Force, other military branches, and many other subjects related aerospace and the defense industry. Plane Talk takes place on Saturdays at 1 p.m.
