  • Team Hill recognizes Community Wingman Award recipient

    In recognition of her support to Hill Air Force Base, Dr. Ann Millner received the prestigious Community Wingman Award. The award, which has been presented annually to members of the community since 2007, recognizes those who have made significant service contributions to the installation. She was presented with her award at the Hill Aerospace Museum during Hill’s Air Force Ball and birthday celebration Sept. 18.

    When something goes wrong, are you able to push through or do you feel like you are frozen? Resilience is the ability to adapt well to adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or even significant sources of stress according to the American Psychological Association.
  • Giving service helps on Patriot Day or any day

    Volunteering in our local communities helps pay tribute to those brave men and women, first responders, and all others who defend our freedom. Service can be given any time, not just on Patriot Day, and there are several ways patriots at Hill can get involved.
  • Women celebrate a rich history of resiliency

    For 100 years, women and their allies worked to obtain equal rights. They deployed radical campaigns, hunger strikes, and picketing at the White House. On Aug. 26, 1920, they achieved a major victory. The 19th Amendment was signed, prohibiting the government from denying the right to vote based on sex, giving women the right to vote.
  • Limited on-base lodging program assists PCS members

    Airmen and Guardians can now use a limited program that allows extended on-base lodging at a discounted rate while they secure permanent residence for their assignment at Hill.
  • Prepare to have a safe school year

    Just like many of you, I have school age children at the beginning of this school year, and I want to make sure they have an enjoyable experience and stay safe. The National Safety Council has some tips on how to keep kids safe when returning to school. They break it down into three sections: traveling to school, staying safe at school, and returning home from school.

    Airmen from Hill Air Force Base recently hosted a job fair May 25, at a nearby charter High School called the Utah Military Academy.

  • 75th OSS pays tribute to fallen Airmen with ‘Wall of Exemplar’

    As a way to remember those who have fallen and inspire others to carry on the warrior ethos, the 75th Operations Support Squadron recently established a "Wall of Exemplar" within the squadron’s Heritage Room, located in Hangar 1.
