  • Hill hours for Labor Day, AFMC Family Day

    Hill will observe an AFMC Family Day Aug. 31 and the Labor Day federal holiday Sept. 3. Many offices and services will be closed or have limited hours. See below for more information.
  • Community thanks Hill service members, families with 'Salute Picnic'

    Military and their family members gathered Aug. 17 for food, fun, and entertainment during the annual Salute Picnic at Centennial Park. This was 18th year the Top of Utah Military Affairs Committee, or TOUMAC, has sponsored the picnic, which serves to thank the military and their families for their service. The first event was held Dec. 7, 2001.
  • Hill celebrates 2018 Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month

    May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month – a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. This year, Team Hill will recognize Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month by hosting a festival on from 4-7 p.m. May 17 at Centennial Park.
  • Air, space show returns to Hill June 23-24

    Event organizers announced April 19 that the "Warriors Over the Wasatch: The Legacy Continues" Air and Space Show will return to Hill AFB June 23-24.
  • Air Force Assistance Fund: It’s not too late to donate

    The annual Air Force Assistance Fund installation campaign is still ongoing, and the campaign runs through May 4. Thanks to the generosity of our Hill AFB personnel, the base has raised 65 percent, or $41,466, of our $63,338 goal in just three weeks.
  • Hill announces 2018 air and space show

    The "Warriors Over the Wasatch: The Legacy Continues" Air and Space Show will return to the Top of Utah June 23-24.
  • Hill museum continues Plane Talk speaker series during April

    The Hill Aerospace Museum hosts a plane talk series featuring speakers related to heritage of Hill AFB, the U.S. Air Force, other military branches, and many other subjects related aerospace and the defense industry. The following speakers will be featured through the end of April.
  • Hill welcomes new installation commander April 13

    Col. Jon Eberlan will become the 75th Air Base Wing Commander at Hill AFB during a change of command ceremony here at 9 a.m. April 13.
  • Hill’s newest top one percent recognized

    Hill Air Force Base recognized the base’s newest chief master sergeants in a ceremony March 10 at Ogden Eccles Conference Center. The chiefs were honored with medallion presentations, a sabre arch introduction, toasts, and a candle-lighting ceremony that represented each of the nine service’s enlisted ranks.
  • HAFB kicks off Air Force Assistance Fund campaign

    The annual Air Force Assistance Fund campaign is just around the corner and will be held March 26 through May 4. This year’s goal for Hill AFB is $63,338 and contributions will directly benefit Air Force Airmen, their families and retirees.
