Communities surrounding Hill Air Force Base may notice an increase in flying over the next two weeks as the Air Force conducts joint weapons system evaluations here. From Aug. 16-27 F-16s from Aviano Air Base, Italy, and F-35As from Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., will be stationed at Hill for WSEP

Military and family members enjoyed food, fun, and entertainment Aug. 6 at the annual Salute Picnic at Centennial Park here. The free picnic was hosted by the Top of Utah Military Affairs Committee, or TOUMAC, as a way to thank service members and their families.

75th ABW participates in deployment exercise

Airmen and Guardians in the 75th Air Base Wing here participated in a Phase 1 readiness exercise July 26-29. The Air Force routinely holds such exercises, which tests a unit’s overall readiness including its ability process military members and equipment for deployment.
