• All abilities playground coming to Centennial Park

    Construction of a new all-inclusive playground is underway at Hill Air Force Base allowing kids of all abilities to be kids. A ground breaking ceremony took place March 21 at the base’s Centennial Park.

  • EFMP-FS holds bowling event for families

    EFMP-FS started off the year with two bowling events at Hill Air Force Base’s bowling center where families, and even a service dog, got to bowl, have fun, and connect with other families on base who also have dependents with special needs.

  • Summit assists families with special needs

    The base held a Special Needs Summit for families March 15 – an information fair for military and civilian employees to learn about area services and programs available to families with special needs. More than 130 providers from 90 on- and off-base agencies attended the summit.

  • Special Needs Summit set for March 15

    More than 80 resources throughout the local area will converge on base March 15 to participate in the Families with Special Needs Summit at The Landing ballroom.

  • Base library hosts STEM event

    The base library here hosted a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) event Feb. 15 for children with special needs and their siblings.
