• Legal office offers 2021 tax preparation alternatives

    Due to extenuating circumstances, Hill Air Force Base has suspended tax center services this tax season. The Hill AFB Legal Office has suggested a number of other alternatives for tax preparation and filing.

  • Tax center at Hill AFB open through new May 17 tax deadline

    If you haven’t heard, the federal government announced last week that the new tax filing due date for individuals was extended from April 15, 2021, to May 17, 2021. As a result, the tax center at Hill Air Force Base will remain open through the new May 17 tax deadline.

  • Base tax center to open Feb. 8

    The Hill Air Force Base Tax Center will open its doors Feb. 8 this year. However, due to the pandemic, in-person tax return preparation will not take place. Instead, all returns will be prepared remotely. Call 801-777-1040 to make an appointment to drop off your tax documents.

  • Hill Air Force Base Tax Center to open Jan. 27

    This year, the Hill Air Force Base Tax Center will open its doors Jan. 27. The Tax Center will be located in building 349, room 101, on B Lane and will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. through Tax Day, April 15. The center will be closed on federal holidays.

  • Hill AFB’s free tax-prep center is seeking volunteers

    The 2020 tax season is just around the corner, and the 75th Air Base Wing Legal Office is looking for volunteers to work in the base’s free income tax filing center as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
