• Hill hosts annual meeting with American Indian tribes

    Hill Air Force Base hosted its annual government-to-government meeting and cultural exchange April 19-20 with members of several American Indian Tribes who claim ancestral and ongoing ties to lands managed by Department of Defense agencies in Utah.

  • Firefighters prescribe controlled burns for Hill

    Passers-by may have seen flames and smoke on the east side of the base April 27. A team of base firefighters conducted a controlled burn on a small section of the Base Operations and Readiness Training, or BORTA, area.

  • Hill AFB roadwork is set to begin May 7

    The installation has two constructions projects scheduled to begin in early May. The renovations will result in two new traffic signals to an increasingly-busy Wardleigh Blvd., while another will include excavation and replacement of asphalt along 6th Street.

    Excavation and replacement of asphalt along Hill AFB's 6th Street from the Southwest Gate to South Gate Dr. will occur May 7 through Aug. 17.
