• AFOTEC stands up GBSD, ICBM detachment

    The Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center headquartered at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., stood up Detachment 3 at Hill Air Force Base Oct. 1 to provide operational test and support for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) and other related Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM)

  • Nuclear weapons center again recognized for excellence

    The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center recently received the Air Force Organizational Excellence Award for the sixth time since the center stood up in 2006. The center’s AFOEA awards now span nine consecutive years, from 2009 to 2017.
