Chief Master Sgt. Kara West, former Senior Enlisted Leader for the 75th Logistics Readiness Squadron, and currently with the 21st Combat Air Base Squadron, prepares to cut a grounding cable held by Airman 1st Class Bertran Celerino Da Silva and Kevin Tippetts, 75th LRS, to mark the reopening of the Fuel Management Flight's building on Jan. 16, 2025, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Originally constructed in the 1950s, the Fuels Management Flight's building underwent a 10-month renovation that eradicated asbestos, and overhauled bathrooms, kitchen HVAC system, fire suppression system, doors and windows. During the construction period, the flight continued 24/7 mission support from an alternate location. (U.S. Air Force photo by R. Nial Bradshaw)
