Hill Aerospace Museum SR-71 display, gets a lift
Airmen and staff position a nose wheel pedestal under the landing gear of an SR-71 static display Jan. 12, 2022, at Hill Air Force Base Utah. The SR-71 “Blackbird” is on display at the Hill Aerospace Museum and was lifted by 388th maintainers in order to give the jet a take-off profile appearance while allowing museum guests a closer look under and around the aircraft.
