11980s: Hill's role as the LSPM
Originally constructed in 1965, the Hill Engineering and Test Facility allowed the Ogden Air Logistics Center (ALC) to complete system-level testing and integration during the 1980s. This photograph depicts an inert Minuteman ICBM being lowered into its silo at the facility during construction.
