Deputy Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan (center) and Chief of Staff of the Air Force David Goldfein (left) learn more about the Ogden Air Logistics Complex during a tour from Maj. Gen. Stacey Hawkins (right), OO-ALC commander. The senior leaders were at Hill Air Force Base to learn more about F-35 sustainment, production and development. The Ogden ALC is the sole Air Force provider of depot maintenance for the F-35, while the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings are the first combat capable F-35 units. Hill is slated to be home to three F-35 fighter squadrons with a total of 78 aircraft by the end of 2019.
