Hometown Hero flight
Local school teacher Megan Funk receives a medical screening from Maj. Charla Quayle, Thunderbird Flight Surgeon. Mrs. Funk had a total of 3 ½ hours of screening, training and briefings before she was cleared to fly in the back seat of a Thunderbird F-16 Fighting Falcon for her Hometown Hero flight June 4 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
