Captain Jensen

(March 28, 2007, Logan, Utah), Sid Jensen, retired US Army Captain and a member of the Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) Post 1695 from Brigham City, Utah, guards the deceased body of Lt. Colonel Chase J. Nielsen. Lt. Col Nielsen was one of the last remaining members of the famed “Doolittle Raiders”. The members of the Doolittle Raiders reached national acclaim in 1942 after launching the first successful aerial bombing raid on Tokyo, Japan as retaliation for the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in December of 1941.
