SALT LAKE CITY-- Tech. Sgt. Alfredo Vasquez, of the 67th Aerial Port Squadron, is greeted by 419th Fighter Wing personnel at the Salt Lake International Airport, Oct. 18. Sergeant Vasquez returned home after being hospitalized at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, for nearly five months after his leg was crushed by a pallet while he was deployed to Afghanistan. Sergeant Vasquez has endured nearly 20 surgeries and a grueling physical therapy program.
