Enhanced Official Mail Center extends hours for Hill Airmen

To accommodate dorm residents working alternate shifts, the Official Mail Center has extended its hours of operation. These new hours will allow more time for dorm residents to retrieve packages.

Revised customer service hours
are as follows:

Monday 1-5 p.m.
Tuesday-Wednesday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Closed noon to 12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday for lunch

Under U.S. Postal Service regulations, dorm residents can also authorize other individuals to retrieve packages and mail. The authorization must come via written consent from the addressee for each occurrence of mail retrieval by someone other than themselves.

The written consent can be in the form of a digitally- signed email sent to the OMC's organizational mailbox 75abw.scxss.basemail@us.af.mil. This will require dorm managers to send a monthly listing of residents to the OMC staff. Dorm residents will retain a mailbox inside the lobby of the OMC and will continue to have 24/7 access to the lobby.

In addition, residents will continue to utilize the USPS next door to ship personal postal items.

USPS hours of operation are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday- Friday, and closed daily from 1-2:30 p.m. for lunch.
