Team Hill was invited to the Top of Utah Military Affairs/Hill Air Force Base Appreciation Night June 19 at Lindquist Field in Ogden. The baseball game is held annually and allowed Airmen and their families to participate in several on-the-field activities.

Col. Wade Lawrence, 75th Air Base Wing vice commander, threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Airmen from Hill AFB's Honor Guard presented the colors while Bruce Williams, 75th Logistics Readiness Squadron, sang the national anthem.

Col. Conserve, Hill's oversized energy conservation mascot, and base volunteers handed out Frisbees and other swag before the game.

Additionally, families participated in several games and activities in between innings, including Dalton Kindernay who raced against Oggie, the Ogden Raptors' mascot.

The Raptors are an advanced rookie affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The team wore brown and tan camouflage uniforms in honor of the nation's service members.

The Raptors lost to the Orem Owls 6-4.
