Forty-four Airmen and five teams from the 75th Air Base Wing were honored Saturday for their accomplishments during 2015.

The wing's annual awards ceremony was attended by more than 200 nominees, Airmen, families, friends and community leaders.

During the year, their leadership enhanced the wing's ability to accomplish its mission by providing mission-ready Airmen and outstanding support to Team Hill.

"What does the legacy of leadership mean?" asked guest speaker retired Air Force Col. Randy Tymofichuk. "It is what you do in terms of driving a positive impact or an action to an individual to motivate and inspire them."

Airmen do not succeed alone but with the support and recognition of loved ones, coworkers and supervisors, said Col. Ron Jolly, 75th ABW commander.

"I enjoy nights like this because it's all about the Airmen," said Jolly. "If you're in uniform or if you're a civilian Airman, it's all about the Airmen and what we do for this great nation. I'm very proud to serve with each and every one of you, Airmen in the true sense of the word."
