The 2016 Warriors Over the Wasatch Air Show and Open House wrapped up here Sunday.

Weather for the 2-day event was favorable and hundreds of thousands turned out to watch more than 20 aerial demonstration performances. Highlighted acts were the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

Much of the air show's success was due to community support.

"An air show of this magnitude would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our community partners who make the biannual event a success," said Col. Ronald Jolly, 75th Air Base Wing commander. "We are grateful for their support."
