The 75th Air Base Wing hosted the Ready Airman Training, or RAT, Race on Aug. 28, 2026, challenging Airmen across a demanding tactical course at the BORTA training grounds. Competing in multi-functional teams, participants navigated field objectives encompassing combat casualty care, weapons handling, CBRN operations, and physical obstacles. The event reinforced baseline warfighting readiness, unit camaraderie, and the physical grit required to operate in contested environments.
