As in-person work resumes for Hill Air Force Base on Thursday, Feb. 6, please allow extra travel time due to increased traffic during peak hours (5 to 8 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m.). Extra ID checkers will be in place, but gate delays are expected, so plan accordingly.
Note: On Thursday and Friday (Feb. 6 and Feb. 7), the North Gate will be open until 6 p.m.
Normal Gate Hours:
• West Gate: Monday - Friday: 4 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Weekends: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Closed on federal holidays and AFMC Family Days.
• North Gate: Monday - Friday: 4:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Closed on weekends and federal holidays; Open on AFMC Family Days.
• North Gate Commercial Vehicle Access: Monday - Friday: 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Closed on weekends and federal holidays. For deliveries outside normal hours, contact Base Defense Operations Center at 801-777-3058/6669.
• South Gate: Open 24/7.
• South Gate Visitors Center: Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Closed on weekends and federal holidays. Contact: 801-777-8631.
