Chief's Corner Published Jan. 13, 2009 By Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Candler OO-ALC and 75th Command Chief Master Sgt. HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- "Unfortunately, some people's view of standards seem to fluctuate depending upon time, location, and even position. As an American Airman, you cannot be one of those people...we must always adhere to every standard so the promise of precision and reliability needed as a member of the joint force defending its nation is met. The next time the thought of using your pockets as hand warmers, not using the technical order as directed, removing issued deployment gear from your bag before departure, drinking and driving, or other irresponsible behavior crosses your mind, ignore the temptation and do the right thing. Your fellow Airmen and country are depending on it."
