OO-ALC winners named

The Ogden Air Logistics Center announced its 2008 annual military and civilian winners of the year at a banquet at Club Hill on March 17.

Maj. Gen. (retired) Stephen "Pat" Condon was the keynote speaker. His last assignment was as commander of the Ogden Air Logistics Center, at Hill Air Force Base, from which he retired in 1997.

The 2008 military award winners are:

Airman of the Year:
Senior Airman Jasmine Nakayama, 75th Air Base Wing/775th Civil Engineer Squadron

Non-commissioned Officer of the Year:
Tech. Sgt. Benjamin Horton, 75th Air Base Wing/775th Civil Engineer Squadron

Senior Non-commissioned Officer of the Year:
Master Sgt. Robert Urbani, 309th Maintenance Wing/649th Combat Logistics Support Squadron

Company Grade Officer of the Year:
Capt. Greg Hoffman, 75th Air Base Wing/775th Civil Engineer Squadron

First Sergeant of the Year:
Master Sgt. Samuel Evans, 84th Combat Sustainment Wing/649th Munitions Squadron

Volunteer of the Year:
Master Sgt. Susan Secora, 75th Air Base Wing/Operations Support Squadron

Individual Mobilization Augmentee Officer of the Year:
Lt. Col. Thomas Christjans, 508th Aircraft Sustainment Wing

Individual Mobilization Augmentee Enlisted of the Year:
Master Sgt. Charles French, 84th Combat Sustainment Wing

Category II Civilian of the Year:

Category III Civilian of the Year:
Thomas Chavez, 309th Maintenance Wing/578th Storage and Disposal Squadron aircraft worker

Category IV Civilian of the Year:

Karl Hill, 75th Air Base Wing/75th Logistics Readiness Squadron Heavy Mobile Equipment mechanic

Category V Civilian of the Year:
