Supervisors...who have you answered to recently? The common answer would be your supervisor, spouse, unit, community, and Air Force. However, I ask you to not forget the indirect people you answer to.

When you train and equip your Airmen...when you ensure the families of your Airmen are safe and well...when you provide counsel to your Airman about life choices, who is it that you ultimately answer to?

Of course, the answer is each Airman's mother, father, brother, sister, and/or a significant other to that Airman. And, when you assumed the role as a supervisor, you inherited the sobering responsibility of leading America's sons and daughters, and, hopefully with much thought behind it, you pledged to take care of someone's most special part of their life.
