As I travel the Hill battlespace, too often do I see personnel not rendering the proper respect during Reveille and Retreat. Although it may not bother some to disobey the rules, it does frustrate many others and goes against everything we as military and civilian Airmen represent.

Let me be direct...when Reveille and Retreat are played and you are outside, whether walking, standing, or driving, you should follow the proper protocol of stopping in place and rendering the appropriate honors. For those that choose not to do so, I would ask others to correct them immediately. If they won't listen, contact me directly.
