Highway 89 construction begins this month Published July 9, 2009 By Utah Department of Transportation HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Hill AFB employees using U.S. Highway 89 to get to and from work could face delays and longer commute times later this month as the Utah Department of Transportation begins maintenance work on the highway the week of July 27. The work will affect Highway 89 from 200 North in Kaysville to South Weber Drive. UDOT says drivers should expect lane restrictions and night and weekend work. The project includes laying new asphalt and concrete paving, bridge repair and new lane striping. The work is expected to take at least eight weeks to complete.
