Kevin J. Sullivan awards presented to top performers at Hill Published Dec. 4, 2009 By Lee Anne Hensley Hilltop Times Staff HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- The 16th annual Kevin J. Sullivan Maintenance and Logistics Awards were held at a banquet Nov. 17 to honor the top performers from the 309th Maintenance Wing, 84th Combat Sustainment Wing, 508th Aerospace Sustainment Wing and 748th Supply Chain Management Group here. The banquet was sponsored by the Ute-Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Air Force Association and the guest speaker was the award's namesake, Maj. Gen. (ret.) Kevin J. Sullivan. Due to Sullivan's desire to recognize the Air Force's top performers, the awards were officially renamed in his honor three years ago. The following individuals were awarded at the Nov. 17 banquet: 309th Maintenance Wing: Scott Bailey, Fred Bateman, Rick Blickfeldt, Steven Burger, Darrell Dandoy, Pamela Fackrell, Larry Gee, Scott Hancock, Jerry Kimsey, Julie Lehr, Robert Migliore, Clint Perigo, Pam Richards, Mitch Smolcha, Jeff Titsenor, Jim Vanfleet, Rich Villani and Brian Walters. 84th Combat Sustainment Wing: Staff Sgt. Scott Heim and Senior Airman Francisco Orellana. 508th Aerospace Sustainment Wing: Senior Master Sgt. Michael Agnew, George Espinoza and Susan Manzanares. 748th Supply Chain Management Group: 1st Lt. Jacob English and Tech. Sgt. Cresencio Rivera. Receiving the Nate Mazer Award for outstanding voluntary service to the Hill Aerospace Museum was James Thurell, who has been a volunteer for the museum since 1992. Closing remarks were given by Maj. Gen. Andrew Busch, Ogden Air Logistics Center commander.
