April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, may bring visions of dry, boring lectures about the difference between right and wrong, or possibly even thoughts of the popular TV show, "The Office" in its rendition featuring an overly awkward boss and shocked co-workers.

Fortunately, Hill's Sexual Assault Response Coordinator office promises that this year's events covering this important topic will likely be far from boring or awkward.

The month's events begin with a 75 minute presentation called "Sex Signals," which features two actors who lead the audience in a discussion about sexual assault. The show manages to fit in comedy, improv and audience interaction, which distinguishes it from your average lecture or PowerPoint presentation.

The show discusses such topics as the differences between men and women, clear communication and how others should be treated. It also tackles myths about consent and sexual assault, which go hand in hand with the SARC's motto for this year, which is "Got consent?"

"Sex Signals" will be presented on April 8 at the base theater and all are invited to attend. Viewers have the option of choosing from three different show times: 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 2 p.m.
