HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Col. Daniel Cornelius was introduced as Hill Air Force Base’s new 75th Air Base Wing commander following a change of command ceremony July 16 at the Hill Aerospace Museum.
In his welcome speech, Cornelius said he is excited to lead the wing.
“I am excited to be here and for the opportunity to lead this wing and be a part of this great mission,” he said.
As commander of the wing, Cornelius will oversee installation support for the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, two fighter wings, and 50 other associate units, which total 27,000 members consisting of active duty, civilian and contractor personnel.
Prior to his coming to Hill, Cornelius was the 402th Maintenance Group Commander at Warner Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
The installation bid farewell to former ABW commander Col. Jeffrey Holland, who is going to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, where he will be chief of staff for Air Force Materiel Command.
