HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- In an effort to enhance efficiency and streamline processes, Hill AFB is preparing to host a specialized training program focused on leveraging Microsoft’s suite of tools and services. The three-day customized training, known as the "75th Air Base Wing Hackathon," aims to empower teams to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions in their units.
Who?
The training is open to you and your team within your unit, with a maximum of seven participants. Whether you’re a seasoned tech enthusiast or just curious about optimizing workflows, this opportunity is for you.
What?
Participants will identify a process within their unit that could benefit from automation or enhanced functionality using Microsoft’s platforms. Unsure which platform to choose? No worries–the training materials include detailed information on various Microsoft tools.
Once you’ve identified your process and assembled your team, get your unit commander’s approval. Download and complete the 75th ABW Hackathon form and submit it via email to 75ABW.CCI.InnovationOffice@us.af.mil no later than July 31.
Where?
The exact location of the training is yet to be determined, but rest assured it will be conveniently accessible for all participants.
When?
The training will take place from Aug. 20-22. Remember, the submission deadline for your team’s proposal is July 31.
How?
Microsoft experts will review your submissions and assign an engineer to assist your team in creating a minimum viable product (also known as an MVP) by the end of the training.
