STARBASE Hill offers STEM summer camps for youth

Are you ready for an adventure in science, technology, engineering, and math? Look no further than STARBASE Hill.

These summer camps are designed to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and empower young minds. Whether your student dreams of building robots, exploring the cosmos, or unraveling scientific mysteries, STARBASE Hill has something for everyone.

STARBASE Hill Advanced STEM Summer Camp (May 28-31): Students in 6th or 7th grade won’t want to miss this camp from May 28-31. Sixth graders go from 9 a.m. to noon and will design, explore, build, and race a CO2 car. Then from 1-4 p.m., 7th graders will immerse themselves in Sphero Strike Force, where they will enhance their knowledge of coding, ecosystems, and physics. Learn more.

Girls Only STEM Camp (June 3-6): Exclusively for girls in 5th and 6th grades, this camp runs June 3-6. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, participants will engage in hands-on experiments in STEM areas like physics, robotics, chemistry, and engineering, learn from enthusiastic mentors, and build confidence in a supportive environment. Summer STEM Camp (June 10-13): Open to students in 5th grade, this camp takes place from June 10-13. Each day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., participants will collaborate on STEM-related challenges, gaining practical skills in chemistry, physics and math through a multitude of fun and creative activities.
